Here's to a Productive 2017

I am not been very good at posting on this blog.  I will try to do better in 2017.

I have dedicated 2017 to finishing several of my works in progress.  While there are many online tools to choose from  online, I am using a very simple project list.  Unfortunately, my projects are like tribbles, and they've multiplied within my cabinets and closets.  Every time I organize my quilting space, piles of projects somehow appear the very next day.

What have I finished so far?

I really enjoy quilting small quilts, and during those Black Friday sales, I had purchased flannel to make the 2-fabric self binding quilts that are very popular.  I followed the tutorial from Missouri Star Quilt Company.  These were the baby quilts that I finished in January:

Just in time for Valentine's Day, I finished this reverse appliqué quilt:

The pattern is by Teri Henderson Tope, who is a local quilt artist and a very talented teacher.

What am I working on now?

I am quilting a quilt for my daughter on George, and I hope to share it with you soon.  While going through my stash, I found a few baby panels, and I am using them to practice my free motion quilting on my Bernina. This photo is my early morning quilting while watching Hart to Hart.

My wonderful dog GG is telling me she needs some attention.

Happy Quilting!
